Genoa Falls, Victoria, Australia

from $125.00

On our road trip back to Naarm (after our mega Christmas holiday of 2022), my partner and I stopped at these falls, just over the border from NSW.

I've never seen so many different types of lizard in the one location in my life! It was spectacular. I also didn't know water dragons could jump - and far - until one bounded across my vision up the stream.

So glad we decided to stretch our legs and have lunch here, plus we managed to leave the location before hoards of other people showed up to play in the water under the hot conditions - win!

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional owners of the land on which I live and work and pay respect to their elders past and present. For over 65,000 years, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders of the lands and waters have been telling stories through their art and dance. I recognise that this land that I create on was never ceded, and that it always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
