K’gari (Fraser Island in the English tongue) is a magnificent island off the Queensland coast. In 2018 I hopped on a 4WD tour of the island and saw whales at play out in the ocean. The indigenous peoples of Butchalla say K’gari means “paradise”; they couldn’t be more right.
